To transform the historic Eastern Command Museum at Fort William into an immersive storytelling space tracing the journey from Colonial Bengal to the India-Pakistan War of 1971.
Built in the 1780s as an ammunition dump for the British Army, the heritage structure later became part of the Indian Army after Independence before evolving into a museum of military history, documenting the legacy of Eastern Command.
From research and content collation to planning, gallery design, and execution, Cygnus Advertising led the complete renovation of the museum experience. The project stands among the agency’s prestigious milestone achievements, an honour to contribute to one of India’s significant military-heritage narratives through a museum experience of national importance.
Today, the renovated museum stands as a modern heritage experience, blending history, architecture, and immersive storytelling to showcase the legacy, valour, and evolution of Eastern Command. It represents a landmark milestone in Cygnus Advertising’s journey and a prestigious honour in the agency’s portfolio of cultural and institutional transformation projects.
