About Hindustan National Glass

HNG was founded by Mr C K Somany in 1946 following the commissioning of India’s first fully automated glass manufacturing plant at Rishra (near Kolkata). At present, it is the key player in India’s container glass industry with a pan India presence and its plants located at Rishra, Bahadurgarh, Rishikesh, Neemrana, Nashik and Puducherry. HNG has captured a large share of the Indian market and also has an increasingly satisfied client base in more than 23 countries.  

OBJECTIVE

The client was looking for a technology partner experienced enough to turn their rudimentary website into a market-fit product. Our objective was to create a full-responsive website with perfect design and web development that would fit with the brand.

CHALLENGES

Our first challenge was branding. We followed a standard rebranding and revised messaging guidelines, and designed the website from the ground up. Our challenge was also on the development side because there was a pile of data, and we had to organize every data. Also, we had to create a seamless CMS so that it worked well and was user-friendly.

SOLUTIONS

• The first challenge we faced was the development of a new website. We blended dynamic Content Management System (CMS) technology with an extremely versatile design.
  
  
• The website was designed to keep the glass Industry and the corporate stature of HNG. Each and every element present on the home page was meticulously designed keeping that brand objective.
  
  
• The client provided us with lots of raw content. We refurbished the content and made it into SEO friendly content.
  
  
• Images and other multimedia content were optimized for the web.
  
  
• All pages were optimized for coding standards (W3C) and another industry-standard page load / SEO parameters.
  
  
• The product section was highlighted as a fully navigable and interactive PDF Catalogue.
  
  
• Though all the pages were designed intrinsic, we created all the pages as Content Management System (CMS) pages to ensure easy self-management. This gave them the freedom to alter any page as per their requirement.
  
  
• Being a BSE Listed Limited company all statutory pages are created and well maintained on a real-time basis.
  
  
• We developed a custom BLOG within our own development framework to avoid using any 3rd party URL.

RESULT

• Pages of the website were aesthetically designed keeping an individualistic look to focus on the theme of the page/section.
• The website traffic has significantly improved owing to our SEO effort as well as digital marketing campaigns.
